James Borrego

James Borrego – Media Arts Program Coordinator at San Antonio College (SAC)
A proud Southside San Antonio native, James was born into one of the city’s most talented families—his father, a master accordionist, and his brother, a renowned Hollywood actor, singer, and dancer. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he pursued his passion for storytelling, working in the film industry before earning his degree at UTSA.

Now, as the Media Arts Program Coordinator at SAC, he is dedicated to shaping the next generation of filmmakers, empowering students to bring their creative visions to life.
